Our Vision
As interspiritual educators and ministers, we believe that global understanding starts in the home and at school, from the earliest ages. The child best prepared to negotiate and contribute to an increasingly globalized world has learned to attend to interspiritual priorities such as: 1) personal and shared spiritual experience, 2) an embrace of diverse cultures and mystical practices, and 3) nurture of emotional intelligence. In addition, a well-prepared student is exposed to a range of learning styles, critical thinking and perspective-taking, as well as skills of deep listening and presence. In times of rapid change fueling fear and tribalism, the adults who work with children are also called upon to deepen their own capacity for self-reflection and inclusiveness, so to cultivate such learning contexts of spaciousness and compassion.
